Shipping & Delivery Policy
These products are sold through Borgdalen, a brand operated by Borgtofta AB, Sweden.

Production time
Production time usually starts from 6 weeks, depending on current production capacity, order volume, material availability, supplier lead times, public holidays, transport conditions and other circumstances outside Borgdalen’s reasonable control.
This is an estimated timeframe only and not a guaranteed production or delivery date. Actual delivery time may also depend on the selected shipping method and carrier handling.
For custom shape tabletops, the estimated production time starts when Borgdalen has received the customer’s approval of the quote, final specifications and payment.
If Borgdalen becomes aware of a significant delay, Borgdalen will inform the customer.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Borgdalen is not liable for indirect losses, loss of income, loss of use, travel costs, installation costs, missed holidays, missed bookings or other consequential costs caused by estimated production or delivery times being exceeded.
Nothing in this clause limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Made-to-size and custom shape products
For made-to-size and custom shape tabletops, production may begin shortly after order acceptance. Because these products are made according to the customer’s individual specifications, cancellation is only possible before production has started. Once production has started, the order is binding, unless the product is defective, damaged, incorrectly delivered or otherwise covered by mandatory consumer protection law.
Customer responsibility
Before placing an order, the customer is responsible for checking that all measurements, product options, colours, contact details and delivery details are correct.
For made-to-size and custom shape tabletops, the product is made according to the information provided by the customer. The customer is responsible for making sure that the selected size, shape and specifications are suitable for the motorhome, layout and existing table base.
Borgdalen is not responsible for errors caused by incorrect measurements, unsuitable product choices or incorrect information provided by the customer, provided that Borgdalen has manufactured the product in accordance with the customer’s approved specifications and that Borgdalen’s product information and instructions were correct and clear.
Production tolerance
Minor production tolerances may occur. For made-to-size tabletops and custom shape tabletops, a production tolerance of ±2 mm applies, unless another tolerance is stated on the product page, in the quote or in the order confirmation. Deviations within the stated tolerance do not normally constitute defects, provided that the product corresponds to the agreement and can be used for its intended purpose.
Delivery
When the tabletop is completed, it will be shipped to the countries available at checkout.
Available delivery options, shipping costs and any delivery restrictions are shown before the customer completes the order.
Due to the size of the tabletop, delivery may be made to a pickup point, to the customer’s address or according to the delivery option selected at checkout.
Delivery does not include carrying the product inside, installation, unpacking or disposal of packaging, unless expressly stated at checkout.
The customer will receive tracking information when the order has been shipped, where tracking is available.
Transport risk
For consumer purchases, Borgdalen is responsible for the product during transport until it has been delivered to the customer or collected by the customer from a pickup point, unless otherwise follows from mandatory law.
Uncollected shipments
If a shipment is delivered to a pickup point, the customer is responsible for collecting it within the time stated by the carrier.
If the shipment is not collected and is returned to Borgdalen, Borgdalen may charge the customer for reasonable return shipping and handling costs, where permitted by applicable law.
Damaged deliveries
Please inspect the package and the tabletop as soon as possible after delivery.
If the package is visibly damaged, ask the carrier to note the damage before you accept or collect the shipment, where possible.
If the package or product is damaged, contact Borgdalen as soon as possible.
If possible, please include photos of the product, packaging and shipping label, your order number and a short description of the damage. If you cannot provide photos, you may still contact Borgdalen and make a complaint.
Borgdalen recommends that visible transport damage is reported within 4 days of receipt so that the claim with the carrier can be handled quickly. This is a recommendation only and does not limit the customer’s statutory consumer rights.
Installation and use
The tabletop is delivered ready to install. Table base, screws, tools and installation services are not included unless expressly stated.
Installation is the responsibility of the customer. The customer must make sure that the existing table base, screws and mounting method are suitable for the size, shape and weight of the tabletop.
The underside allows flexible screw fixing, so the tabletop can be mounted to an existing table base in a way that works for the customer’s layout.
The customer must always make sure that the tabletop is securely fixed before use.
Borgdalen is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, unsuitable screws, unsuitable table bases, misuse, modifications or use outside the intended purpose, unless the damage is caused by a defect in the product, incorrect product information, insufficient instructions or another circumstance for which Borgdalen is responsible under mandatory law.
